Do people prefer to be yelled at?

Alarm bells chime furiously inside my head as I try to restrain from lashing out at all those unfortunate to cross my path just now. I’m furious. Seems like the only way to get people to work is to yell at them. Cajoling, gentle reminders, detailed explanations or even a firm tone don’t work at all. Yell and your job is done.

I used to stand by my claim that gentle persuasion is a bigger motivator than outrageous roaring; I think I’ll do a 180° turn on that and change into a raging bull. What is it about the Indian mentality that favors a menial labor mind despite holding a favorable position in an organization?

Grr…I need to calm down. I need to find a way to deal with this mentality again.
